Irum Maqbool - Co-Chair Consultancy and Training

Irum is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Education, Cambridge. In her doctoral research she aims to understand the world(s) of children and young people growing up in urban Pakistan. She is particularly interested in focusing on the ways in which they navigate the complexity their world(s) offer on a social and emotional level. Her knowledge and perspectives are shaped by her reading of Psychology at undergraduate and graduate level. Previously, Irum worked as a mental health practitioner in an educational institution in Lahore. A role she left to pursue MPhil in Psychology & Education (Cambridge) and one that continues to inspire her work. She is a Cambridge Trust scholar and a Commonwealth Scholarship alumna.
